5 YEAR LIMITED LEVER WARRANTY

Every Cassotto Lever comes with a 5 year limited warranty, under normal use, for the wooden body and carbon fiber core (finish excluded).  In the event of a any malfunction, please email Randy Cassotto at cassottolevers@gmail.com or call 860-307-2096.  If the items are going to be shipped back, the address is:  Cassotto Levers, LLC  149 High Valley Dr.  Canton, CT 06019 (shipping charges apply)

If the lever's body or carbon fiber core is irreparable, a new lever will be provided to you. Obvious neglect or deliberate damage will void any and all parts of this warranty. Keep your lever & tips away from water high heat, extreme cold, and unapproved liquids.

All Cassotto Prestige Tips, Tip Inserts, & Aluminum heads come with a 5 year limited warranty, under normal use.  Keep all metals away from water, salts, or unapproved cleaners. 

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT AIRCRAFT GRADE ALUMINUM

Black anodization has been added to the head for aesthetics. During regular use, markings may appear or the black anodization may come off.  If this happens, your lever should continue to work as intended as confirmed by metals engineers.  Use a tissue or soft cloth, wipe away any residue, discard the cloth, and wash/clean hands as necessary.  Do not ingest any parts or bi-product of any materials from levers and always wash hands before consuming food.

BLACK OXIDE CARE FOR PRESTIGE TIPS & TIP INSERTS

Our tips are coated with a black oxide finish for aesthetics & to add further corrosion resistance to the metal.  If any excessive moisture or acids from hand creams, lotions, or cleaners with salts hit black oxide, you will introduce red rust.  To help preserve & clean black oxide, motor oil can be wiped on each part with a paper towel, wipe clean with a clean paper towel, and use a 2nd clean paper towel to assure there is no residue on the towel.  To further protect the parts, you can wipe on a wax, like Renaissance Wax, which dries hard instantly.  Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations on safety and wipe off any residue off parts before using on any piano. 

REMOVING THE TIP FROM THE HEAD

Insert a tip wrench into the tip and simply twist counterclockwise.  The tip insert is engineered to remain ON the tip.  If you must remove the tip from the insert, insert a tip wrench into the tip, use a 7/16” wrench on the flat of the tip insert, and unscrew the parts. 

CLEANING THE LEVER BODY

These levers are finished with blend of a 2 part epoxy & special ca. Staying away from the metals, use a soft, lightly-dampened cloth with soap & water over the finished wood & carbon fiber core.  For a quick polish, use Meguiars #17 & #10 for light surface scratches & follow the manufacturer's instructions.  Cleaners with silicones will void the warranty. KEEP LEVER AWAY FROM HIGH HEAT.  Temperatures above 110˚ may cause the 2-part epoxy finish to soften.
